Calling all fun-seeking, energetic people of all ages!

We need YOU to join the Blue Ridge BBQ & Music Festival Volunteer Team! The Blue Ridge Barbeque & Music Festival couldn't go on if it weren't for the 500+ Volunteers! While you are volunteering you get to smell the aroma of mouth watering barbeque, listen to non-stop music and meet the greatest barbeque lovers in the south! There are hundreds of people who volunteer year after year, and who declare this is the event of the year.

Volunteers receive:

  • A Blue Ridge BBQ & Music Festival Volunteer T-shirt
  • Free admission both days
  • Water during your shift to keep you hydrated
  • BBQ Bucks to get some of the best BBQ in the country
  • A parking pass to get you close in to the festival

Volunteering is Fun!

The opportunities to volunteer are as diverse as the fun and flavorful things there are to experience at the festival. There are many areas in which to share your talents:

  • Ticket sales
  • Operations
  • Merchandise sales
  • Beverage services & sale
  • Volunteer check-in
  • Sponsor tent
  • Crafts

Volunteering includes:

3 - Four hour shifts during the two day festival, as well as set-up and clean-up the days surrounding the event. Sign up for one shift or more!

When choosing an area to volunteer, please consider your physical limitations (standing for long periods of time/heat exposure/ability to lift) and money handling skills.

We try to match each volunteer with a job that they feel most comfortable performing. If you need more detail on the different volunteer positions, please contact the office at 828-859-7427.
