Foothills Craft Fair
Return to: Home

The Foothills Crafts Fair is a juried fine arts & crafts show that has enjoyed a reputation for the range and quality of items for sale. With nothing manufactured or imported, this show is proud to offer our festival-goers a best of the best shopping experience.

The Festival can easily boast an annual attendance of 15,000 to 20,000 and many of our guests come back year after year looking forward to shopping the Foothills Crafts Fair. Many of our artisans have found they sell more when they demonstrate their craft.

Located on either side of a wide paved avenue and along the Pacolet River, there are normally soft breezes to cool the June temperatures down a bit and cause shoppers to comfortably linger. And our crafters know we appreciate their coming by offering them a wine and cheese cart on Friday night!

The Exhibits

Art lovers can purchase oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, graphics/drawings, prints, mixed media, photography, and sculpture.

Craft lovers can find objects made from wood, paper, fiber, fabric, leather, metal, gems, glass, stone, clay, and natural materials.

The number of artists from each category is limited.

Exhibiting artisans have come from as far north as New York, as far south as Florida, and as far west as Oklahoma to show their stuff at the Foothills Craft Fair. Since each item must be handmade by the exhibiting artisan, the Foothills Craft Fair presents a great opportunity for visitors to talk to the craftspeople and artists and learn about the artistic process. Many of the artists and craftsmen demonstrate their skills and will accept special orders.

NOTE: Off-site consumables such as teas, jellies, etc. are NOT accepted.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to apply?
There is a $25 non-refundable jury fee and a 12x12 booth space is $160. You are responsible to collect and report your own sales tax.

Can I get the photos I send with my application back?
Yes if you include a note to that effect and a self addressed stamped envelop to accommodate your materials.

Do you provide electricity?
All spaces have access to power, but you will need to bring a heavy-duty, 100-foot drop cord.

Can I bring my RV?
Spaces for RV’s at Harmon Field are extremely limited and you must coordinate this well ahead of time with the Crafts Chair. See our list of area places to stay for overnight accommodations close to Harmon Field.

Are all the spots outside?
Yes, and because it is a rain or shine event we recommended that you have a tent to protect your wares from summer showers as well as the sun.
