2012 Festival shaping up to be best yet!

The 2012 Blue Ridge Barbecue & Music Festival is shaping up to be the best ever, according to Steering Committee members who are already hard at work to produce the event slated for June 8-9, 2012, at Harmon Field. The 19th annual Festival will operate from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Saturday. “Look around this website and see what’s being planned to make our event even more exciting this year,” said Chuck Britton, Festival Chairman. “Every year we try to add to the whole experience for each person who participates—and that includes the guests, the cook teams, the sponsors, the volunteers, everybody!”

Fire up the Hawgs!

The Hawg Run To Fun brings an exciting element to the Festival, a motorcycle poker run covering two states. The 2011 Run was definitely a day full of fun, and the Run returns in 2012, once again offering the option for a beautiful ride through either the foothills of North or South Carolina.

Festival's youngest team set to compete

Festival founder Jim Tabb, left, and national champion Mike Mills, right, certainly know a thing or two about quality cook teams. And they expect big things out of the youngest competitors to ever enter the Festival, Hogs & Kisses team members Allison Hembree and Madison Arrowood.
